With a Twist of Lace Cowl
With a Twist of Lace Cowl
This cowl comes with an interesting twist: two lace patterns come together to form a tube wide enough to fit around your shoulders. The tube is twisted and held in place with temporary or pedestal buttons to offer a subtle reference to the Edwardian silhouette.
Choose the sedate beauty of a single color or tonal kettle-dyed yarn, or enhance the lace with a multicolored yarn as wild as you dare!
The center panel is worked first, then stitches are picked up along each side and worked towards the center back; finally the side panels are joined at the center back with either Kitchener Stitch or Three-Needle Bind off.
